How should followers of Jesus Christ vote in the USA?

How should followers of Jesus Christ vote in the USA? Christians that live in the USA have a unique privilege not found in any other pluralistic society on planet earth. We have true freedom of speech, particularly when it comes to matters of politics. When Christians vote how should we vote? Should we vote for a particular party? or Should we vote for a particular person? or Should we vote for particular ideas? If it’s a person then the question is can you really know who that person is? Maybe there is a track record of how they voted in the past. Maybe they were members of certain organizations. These are factors that should be considered to some degree. What about the character issue? This is a tough one. Why? Unless there is some kind of criminal record of laws being violated (even this can be suspect) or undeniable evidence (stained blue dress) we can’t really know a person unless we are their personal friends and family. Even then those peopl...

What is a “woman”?

“men of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what Israel should do….” - 1 Chronicles 12:32

As a follower of Jesus, in the world today, we must be vigilant about the times we live in and the ideas that oppose God’s creative order and the knowledge of God, as revealed in the scriptures.

“We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,” - 2 Corinthians 10:5 (AMP)

In the USA today we are seeing an example of this in the latest SCOTUS nominee vetting process and the MSM reaction to it. What you’d think was a simple question, that most 5 yr olds could answer, should become a moment of clarity for those who say they believe in Jesus and hold to a particular political ideology.

What was the question? Can you define the word “woman”? The answer you might expect a Supreme Court nominee, someone that should be highly intelligent, to say would be “an adult female”. But NO! The answer that was given was “I don’t know”…”I’m not a biologist”. Think about that. What if the question was, “What is 2 +2?” and the nominee said “I don’t know…I’m not a mathematician”.

The folly is undeniably transparent. We live in a truth denying time. It’s because of a particular worldview that resides and is reenforced by a particular political ideology that this nominee holds to that is anti-Christ to its core. Those who support this kind of knowledge, that opposes the true knowledge of God, support the god of this age.

“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” - 2 Corinthians 4:4

Not only are the unbelievers blinded but those that profess to be believers and hold to a particular political ideology. They has been trap by the enemy of God’s creative order and of all humans. They have become so politically party minded they become no Kingdom of God good. It’s the good of the worldly kingdoms that takes priority over being a citizen of Gods kingdom.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” - Genesis 1:27

Everything else is a lie.

“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” - John 8:44

Remember to take captive every thought, idea, philosophy that opposes God and bring it under the Lord and King, the One True Leader, Jesus.
