The Moral Argument for God’s Existence.

An atheist might say you can be good without believing in God. However the question isn’t can you be good without believing in God but can you be good without God? Here’s the problem if there’s no God. What basis remains for objective good or bad, right or wrong? If God does not exist objective moral values do not exist. Here’s why. Without some objective reference point we    really have no way of saying something is up or down. Gods nature however provides an objective reference point for moral values. It’s the standard which all action and thoughts are measured. However, if there is no God then there is no objective reference point. All we are left with is one persons view point as opposed to some other persons view point. This makes morality subjective not objective.  It’s like a preference for vanilla ice cream. The preference is in the subject not the object. Therefore it doesn’t apply to other people. In the same way subjective morality applies only to the subject. It’s not va

What Would The Devil Do?

What Would The Devil Do?

“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

The Devil, the Prince of Darkness, would want to keep the world in darkness, blinded. He would acquire as much land as possible with 4/5 of its population. He would take the ripest apple from the tree – human beings. He would use all means necessary to take over democracies – especially the United States of America, the freest nation on earth. He would subvert the body of Christ first with a campaign of whispers. He would whisper with what would sound like wise and persuasive words, as he did with Eve in the garden, “Do as you please.”

“All who hate me whisper together against me; Against me they devise my hurt,” - Psalms 41:7

He would take advantage of the young, who haven’t sharpened their critical thinking skills, and whisper, “The Bible is a myth.” He would convince them that humans created God instead of the truth that God created them. He would start to tell them that bad is good, and what is good is oppressive. Then as they get older he would teach them to worship him under the masquerade of ‘Our Father who lives in Washington’.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,” -  2 Corinthians 10:3-5

He would then begin to organize. He would use “educated” authors to make sexually explicit literature exciting in order to make the good, noble and virtuous seem dull and uninteresting. He would use the visual media to make what use to be biblically, unacceptable. He would destigmatize narcotics and drunkenness to anyone who would listen so that they would be tranquilized and numb to the truth.

“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.” -  Galatians 5:24

He would subvert the nuclear family and it’s extensions by having them go to war with one another, neighbors warring with one another, people in the body of Christ warring with one another and nations warring with one another over things from the mundane to secular political ideologies; until we consumed one another with hatred. And through the media, with its goals for higher ratings, he will luring people in with misleading headlines to fan the flames. He will encourage educational institutions to indoctrinate young minds but subvert the discipline of emotional self-control. Encouraging untamed emotions to run wild, to the point it will be necessary to have drug sniffing dogs and metal detectors at every school.

He will make sure prisons are overflowing. He will have judges and law enforcement helping the criminals more then the victims. He will remove the natural laws of God from the courthouse, educational institutions, and governing bodies. He will establish the church of psychology for the revealed truths of the human condition we have in the Bible. He will trick people into ignoring the science that saves lives in order to destroy more lives. He will entice clergy to abuse boys and girls and money. He will distract people to make them think Easter is about bunnies and eggs and Christmas is about consumerism and drinking.

He would divide people into groups with identity labels, such as, the color of your skin, your ethnic background, your gender (which there are only two), your economic status, etc., and use political ideologies and media sources to foment a façade of mistrust using propaganda slogans in order to cause people to hate one another instead of making discernments about people as individuals who are all created in God's image.

He will use governmental institutions to take from people who have and give to people that want. This will be done at the point of a gun in order to kill the incentive to achieve for those that have ambition and are hard working.

He will get everyone to be more tolerant with gambling as a means to getting rich. He would warn against creating goals and hard work in making our Constitutional Republic work and moral conduct. He would convince that the institution of marriage is no longer relevant, multiple partners is the way to go, television, social media is what informs us about how we should live. He would do this in order to make it acceptable to undress in public, tear down those sexual morals so that diseases, for which there is no cure, can run rampant. In other word he will keep on doing what he’s been doing from the beginning.

“in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” - 2 Corinthians 2:11
